Overview
Kinetix Healthcare offers a comprehensive range of padding, foams, and interface materials used to line and cushion custom orthoses. These components are essential for improving comfort, pressure distribution, and patient compliance, especially in long-term wear and high-contact applications.
We supply materials suited for lower-limb, spinal, and pediatric orthoses, with a focus on formability, hygiene, and skin compatibility.
Closed-Cell PE & EVA Foam Sheets
Use: Liner or padding layer inside AFOs, KAFOs, TLSOs
Features:
- Lightweight and water-resistant
- Compressible but resilient
- Easily cut and thermoformable
Hardness: 20–50 Shore A
Thicknesses: 3 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 10 mm

Soft Open-Cell Polyurethane Foam
Use: Comfort padding in contact zones (e.g., fibular head, calcaneus)
Features:
- Highly breathable
- Soft and flexible

Poron® and Microcellular Urethane
Use: High-performance padding for shear-sensitive patients
Features:
- Long-term impact absorption
- Excellent shape memory
- Common in diabetic or neuropathic bracing

Felt & Wool Interface Liners
Use: Traditional interface for leather or corset braces

Application Guidelines
- Match thickness to weight-bearing zones
